Giuseppina Pugliese (nee Pugliese) 75, of Long Branch, formerly of Newark died on Monday December 22, 2014 at home.

The funeral is from the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Ave. Union on Saturday at 9:30 am. The funeral mass will be in St. Theresa Church in Kenilworth at 11 am. Entombment will follow in Graceland Memorial Park also in Kenilworth. Visitation will be on Friday from 4-8 pm.

Born in Italy she lived in the Ironbound section of Newark for 60 years, before moving to Long Branch 1 year ago. She was a co owner along with her late husband  Tommaso of Tom and Josephine's Deli and Cafe in Newark for 15 years, until she retired 13 years ago.

Giuseppina was married to her late husband Tommaso for 35 years until he passed away in 1997. She is the mother of Micki Pugliese and her husband Jose Luis Ceballos, Pat Pugliese and his wife Elaine, and Tony Pugliese. She is also the sister of Michele Pugliese, Rosa Pontoriero, Angelina Pugliese, Lola Comerci, the late Giuseppe, and Francesco Pugliese, as well as the grandmother of  Giuseppe, and Jose Ceballos Jr, and Alexis, and Sophia Pugliese.
