Gladys E. Casale, 83, of Union passed away on Tuesday January 28, 2014 at home.

The funeral is from the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave., Union on Saturday at 9 am. Services will be at Connecticut Farms Presbyterian Church in Union  at 10:30 am. Interment will follow in Hollywood Memorial Park in Union. The visitation will be on Friday from 4 - 8 pm.

Born in Kearny she lived in Newark (Vailsburg),  before moving to Union 20 years ago. She was an Assistant Credit Manager for Wallwork Brothers in West Caldwell for 37 years, retiring 10 years ago.

Mrs. Casale was a member of Connecticut Farms Presbyterian Church in Union. She belonged to the Women's Club and was also a Deacon there. She belonged to the "Sixty Plus Club" at Holy Spirit Church in Union and the Senior Club at St. Michael's Church, also in Union. She was a member of AARP, the VFW Ladies Auxiliary #2433, and also the Monday 9:30 Senior Club at the Union Senior Center.

Gladys is the mother of George and his wife Donna, Jack and his wife Susan, Robert and his wife Karen; sister of Barbara Aumack; grandmother of Samantha, Gina and Joseph; great grandmother of five.

In lieu of flowers the family prefers that you make memorials to the Homeless Animal Adoption League, 56-58 Dodd St., Bloomfield, NJ 07003 in her memory.
