Gloria Rosario Erana

Our dear sister in Christ, Gloria Erana, went home to be with the Lord on January 29th, surrounded by her loving family and friends. While we grieve her passing, we also find comfort in knowing that she is now in the presence of Jesus, free from pain and sorrow.

Gloria, along with her husband of 27 years, Arthur, lived in Union Township for nearly 15 years. They were devoted members of Crossroads Christian Fellowship, where they built a home in the community. Gloria led the Nursery ministry, where she poured out her love and care, sharing the message of Jesus with young children. Arthur played bass guitar during Sunday worship services, and together, they served with joy and dedication.

Gloria is also survived by her parents, Andres and Teresita Rosario, and her siblings, Gemma Calderon, Manuel Rosario, Gina Rosario-Hernandez, and Art Rosario. She adored her nieces, Jan Francine, Jahnna, and Giselle, as well as her nephews, JC, Justin, Jared, Julian, and Brandon. 

One of Gloria's greatest joys was opening her home to gather, worship, and glorify the Lord. She loved organizing fun games and giving out thoughtful prizes. In her leisure time, Gloria enjoyed playing the drums, riding her bike, and sharing heartfelt meals with her loved ones. Over the years, she cherished taking trips and cruises with Arthur. 

Gloria worked at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York for nearly 20 years, serving as the assistant manager of the scheduling department since 2008. Her coworkers described her as a source of peace and harmony within the workplace.

Gloria will be greatly missed and will always be remembered for her generous heart, her willingness to give abundantly of her time, gifts, and love. Everyone who had the privilege of knowing her will forever be grateful for the blessing she was in their lives.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 3rd, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Galante Funeral Homes, 2800 Morris Avenue, Union Township, NJ 07083.

A church service will take place on Tuesday, February 4th, at 10:00 AM at Crossroads Christian Fellowship, 2815 Morris Avenue, Union, NJ 07083.

A lunch gathering will follow at Crossroads Fissel Hall after the service.
