Gloria N. Farese, 85, of Millburn died on Sunday January 6 ^th , 2013, at St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston.

The funeral is from the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Ave. Union, on Wednesday at 8:30 am. The funeral mass is at St. Rose of Lima Church, 50 Short Hills Ave. in  Short Hills at 10 am. Interment will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in East Orange. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4- 8 pm.

Born in Newark she lived in Millburn for 48 years. She was an executive secretary for RCA Corporation in Harrison for 25 years, and then became an executive secretary for AIRCO-BOC in Murray Hill for 16 years until she retired in 1997.

Gloria was the sister of Robert J. Farese and his wife Lois, the late Rosemarie Hall, Michael II, and Vito Farese, and the sister in law of Barbara Farese. She was the aunt of Rory, & Michael III Farese, as well as the great aunt of Christopher Kapsaskis, Gianna, Michael IV, and Nicholas Farese.

Gloria was a vital member of the parish community of St. Rose of Lima, and of the group that attended mass at 5:30 pm every week.

In lieu of flowers the family prefers that you make memorials to The Millburn-Short Hills Volunteer First Aid Squad 188 Glen Ave. Millburn, N.J. 07041 in her memory.
