Guido Louis Petruzzelli

Guido Louis Petruzzelli 76, of Union died on Sunday April 13, 2014, at Cranford Health and Extended Care Center.

The funeral is from the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Ave. Union on Wednesday at 9:30 am. The funeral mass will be in St James Church in Springfield at 11am. Cremation will be private. Entombment will be at a later date in St. Gertrude Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4-8 pm

Born in Italy he lived in East Orange, and the Vailsburg section of Newark, before moving to Union 38 years ago. he was butcher for Pathmark in Union for 47 years and also a sales rep Primo Foods in Rochelle Park, N.J. for 8 years until he retired 12 years ago. He was member of the NJ National Guard from 1956-1963, and also a member of the Westfield Athletic Club.

Guido was married to his wife Margaret (nee Romano) and is the father of Guido, Louis Petruzzelli and his wife Jackie, Marie Du Beau and her husband Gene, and Donna Reilly and her husband Jack. He was also the son of the late Louis and Mary (nee La Manna)  Petruzzelli,  and the brother of Madalin Crawford and her husband Robert, as well as the grandfather of Eric, Daniel, Bryan, Michael, Christopher, Tori, Louis, Anthony, Allison, and Brett.
