Helen J. Holland-Moritz, 89, of Union, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at Overlook Medical Center in Summit, surrounded by her loving family.

The funeral is from the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Avenue, Union, NJ on Tuesday at 11 am. Interment to follow at Hollywood Cemetery in Union. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 9 to 11 am.

Born in New York City, Helen resided in Union for many years.  She worked as a secretary at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Irvington.Helen loved spending time with family and friends (especially her grandchildren)! She enjoyed gardening and playing Rummikub with her friends.  She was very devoted and dedicated to both the Redeemer Lutheran Church in Irvington and the First Presbyterian Church in Springfield.

Beloved wife of the late Fritz L. Holland-Moritz; Loving mother of Richard F. Holland-Moritz and daughter in-law Pamela, Julia M. Urmston and son in-law Rand;  Grandmother of Scott Urmston, David Holland-Moritz, Matthew Holland-Moritz, Laura Sullivan and her husband Paul; great grandmother of Lucy Sullivan. Sister of the late Fred Predl. Dear friend of Betty Ignaise.
