Helena Anceriz

Helena Anceriz (nee Anceriz) 66 of Newark, died on Friday, Jan. 13th, 2012 at Raritan Bay medical Center in Old Bridge.


The funeral mass from the Galante Funeral Home 17 Pacific St. @ Walnut St. Newark (Ironbound) on Tuesday at 8:30 am. The funeral mass is at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Newark at 9:30 am. Interment is in Holy Cross Cemetery. Visitation is Sunday 2-6 pm, and Monday 4-8 pm.


Born in Portugal she lived in the Ironbound Section of Newark for many years.


Helena is the wife of Jose S. Anceriz, and the mother of Francisco Anceriz and his wife Idalina, and Luisa Anceriz and her husband Paul Figueira. She is the sister of Bernadina Petrocinio, and also the grandmother of Brian and Liane Martinez, and Ariel Anceriz.
