Henry "Hank" Stulec

Henry "Hank" Stulec, 80, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday, May 12th after a brave battle with Cancer. Visitation on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave, Union, NJ. Funeral mass Thursday at 10am at St. Anthony of Padua Oratory, 1360 Pleasant Valley Way, West Orange. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Born in Newark to the late Frank and Ethel Stulec. Henry lived in Newark, Hillside and Toms River before retiring to Hudson, Fla. Henry worked for the US Postal  Service in Federal  Square, Newark for 35 years before retiring in 1996. Henry was devoted to his family, loved playing cards, especially pinochle, food shopping, and was a lifelong NY Giants and Red Sox fan. Henry was predeceased by sisters Olga, Eva, Eleanor and his brothers  Frank, Donald and William. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Louise (nee Scola), his daughters Roseanne Taylor (Kenneth), Sheila Stulec and Heather Huppert (Anthony) his sons Joseph Stulec (Lisa) and Frank Stulec, his sister Carol Gesumaria, brother Robert and his grandchildren Christopher, Jessica, Jake, Jamie, Joseph, Vincent and Lucas. As well as many nieces, nephews and his faithful dog Benny.
