Idalina C. Marques  (nee Cavassani) 86, of Hillside, N.J. died on Thursday February 16, 2017. The funeral will be from the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Avenue in Union, NJ on Saturday at 8:30 am. The funeral mass will be in St. Catherine of Siena Church in Hillside, N.J. at 10 am. Entombment will follow in Hollywood Cemetery in Union. Visitation will be on Friday from 4-8 pm.

Born in Brazil , she lived in Hillside many years. She was a seamstress for Dessel Bridal Village  in  Irvington, NJ  for many years, before retiring.

Idalina was married to her husband Antonio Marques, and is the mother of Lucy Perez, and Anthony Marques. She is also the sister of Pedro Cavassani, and Maria Guandolini, as well as the grandmother of Andrew, Megan, Nicole, and Kayleigh.
