Ifeoma  D. Ohakam  34, of Union died on Wednesday November 4, 2015, at Father Hudson House in Elizabeth, N.J.

The funeral will be on Friday from the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Avenue Union, N.J. at 9:30 am. The funeral mass will be in St. Theresa Church in Kenilworth at 11 am. Interment will follow in Graceland Memorial Park also in Kenilworth. Visitation will be on Thursday from 5-9 pm.

Born in the Bronx, NY she moved to Union 7 months ago. She was a Benefits Coordinator for Emblem Health Insurance Co in New York City for 7 years. She graduated from St. Catherine Academy in the Bronx in 1999 where she was a member  of the  soccer , rugby, and track teams. She later attended Stony Brook University and then Westchester College in N.Y. where she graduated from in 2006.

Ifeoma was the beloved wife of Bruno M. Lopes, and is the loving mother of Katelyn Wellington-Ohakam, and Step son Pedro Lopes. She is also the cherished daughter of Cletus and his wife Maria (nee Okoro) Ohakam as well as the loyal sister of Obinna, Chioma, Amanda, and Ivana  Ohakam.
