Ines G. Jara (nee Ortega) 74, of Union died on Sunday December 9 ^th , 2012 in Overlook Medical Center in Summit.

The funeral Service will be in the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Ave. Union, on Thursday at 12 Noon, Interment will follow in Hollywood Memorial Park 1500 Stuyvesant Avenue, in Union. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 5-9 pm.

Born in Ecuador she came to Elizabeth in 1975, and lived there until she moved to Union 10 years ago. She was a member of the Lirio De Los Valles Church in Elizabeth.

Ines was married to her Husband Efrain Jara for 50 years, and was the mother of Efrain Jara and his wife Cristina, Carmita Boutin and her husband Aurelio, and Javier Pita and his wife Lily Claros. She was the daughter of the late Carmen (nee Sanchez) and the late Segundo Ortega, and was the sister of Segundo Ortega and his wife Maria, and Violeta Ortega and her husband Galo Escobar. She was also the grandmother of Michelle and her husband Josh Nazario, Giselle, Lisette, Bridget, Alex, Genesis, and Efrain, as well as the great grandmother of Amber.
