Irene S. Carr

Irene S. Carr was born on October 2, 1942, in St. Thomas, Jamaica. She is survived by her brother James and sister Linnette. Her legacy continues through her beloved nieces and nephews, circle of close friends, and her Fellowship Baptist Church family, where she was an active and respected member. 

Irene found joy and peace in knitting, crocheting, sewing and puzzles. Her quiet strength and deep faith touched the lives of everyone who knew her. 

Services to honor Irene Carr’s life will be held at Galante Funeral Home on September 19, 2024 with visitation from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and funeral services immediately following at noon. Interment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park, 1500 Stuyvesant Avenue in Union, NJ, where she will be laid to rest.
