James D. Cornacchia

James D. Cornacchia, 87, of the Ironbound Section of Newark, passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2015.

The funeral will be from the Galante Funeral Home, 17 Pacific street, Newark on Saturday at 8:30 am. The Funeral Mawss will be at St. James Church in Newark at 9:30 am. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington. Visitation will be on Friday from 7 to 9 pm.

Mr. Cornacchia was a lifelong residence of Newark. He worked as an assembler for General Motors in Clark for 15 years before retiring. He also served as an usher at the former St. Joseph's Church in Newark.

Beloved husband of Sylvia (nee Narod); loving father of Bernadette Gerhart; cherished grandfather of Marlana and devoted great greatfather of Christian and Noah.
