James Romano

James (Jimbo) Romano passed away peacefully on April 9th, 2020. He was born in Raritan, NJ to the late Anthony and Michalena (Calvanese) Romano. He was pre-deceased by his loving wife Frances, sister Margaret, and son Frank. He is survived by his daughter Lisa and husband Joe, daughter Frances Irene, son Anthony and his wife Pattie, daughter-in-law Maria Romano, and cousin Billy Romano. He is also survived by his seven grandchildren Lisa Mass and husband Ryan, Franny Blank and husband Michael, Michael Irene, Christina Romano, Frankie Romano, Karli Romano and Angelina Romano and great-grandchildren, Jake and Layla Mass and Franny Blank.

Jimmy served his country in the United States Army and was deployed to Germany from 1952-1954 due to the Korean Conflict. He owned and operated his own Insurance Company for 40+ years. Family was everything to him, along with his pets, the New York Yankees, and of course, a great meal. He left an impression on everyone he met with his sense of humor and love for life. He will be missed forever. Love you dad.

Funeral Services will be held privately in care of Galante Funeral Home in Union.
