Jammy L. Coffy, 35 of Hillside passed away on October 12, 2021.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation for Jammy at the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave. Union on Thursday October 21 from 9 - 11 AM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Christ the King Church in Hillside at 11:30 AM. Entombment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park.
Born in Elizabeth, Jammy was a longtime Hillside resident. A graduate of Christ the King School in Hillside and Oratory Prep in Summit, Jammy proudly earned a Bachelor of Science degree from William Paterson University. He was a talented basketball player, and loved to travel. Jammy liked to laugh, and had a terrific sense of humor. He truly had a zest for life, and will be sorely missed.
The loving son of Ferere Coffy and Mona Noncent, Jammy was the cherished brother of Philip Coffy, and dear friend and travel companion of Isaac Mireku, who was like a brother to him. Jammy was the dear God-son of Lucine Estripelt and grandson of Mazela Macena. He is also survived by his uncles Mario Noncent, Fritz Dorlean and Gary Estripelt, aunts Mrs. Albert Myrthil and Abeline Noncent, and cousins Jessica Estripelt, Mark Estriipelt, Simon Myrthil, Jemima Myrthil, Viola Myrthil, Ann Myrthil, Trish Noncent, Kenny Noncent and Jennifer Noncent. He also leaves behind dear friends Reginald Simpson, Ana Ponce, Rian Jose, Robe Jose, and cousin in law Michael Poveromo.
