Jeannette A. Alves (nee Coruccini) 82, of Clark died on Sunday January 18, 2015 at Overlook Medical Center in Summit.

The funeral is from the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Ave. Union on Thursday at 8:30 am. The funeral Mass will be in St. Lucy Church in Newark at 10 am. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm.

Born in Sacramento, California, she lived in Red Mills, N.Y. and Newark, before moving to Clark, 48 years ago. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Clark First Aid Squad. She was also recognized as a very creative and extraordinary seamstress.

Jeannette is the mother of Grace Marinello and her husband Pascal, and Jeannette Hamel and her husband Richard. She is also the sister of Marie Moore, the late Angelina Brown, and Richard Coruccini, as well as the grandmother of Gianna Marie Morey and her husband Jason, and Cristina Jean Villano, and the great grandmother of Giancarlo Morey.
