Jerry Albanese

Jerry Albanese, a cherished husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully. He dedicated over 30 years of his life to Passaic Valley in Newark, NJ, where he held the position of Operator Number Two. Known to many as "The Blade" for his sharp sense of style and impeccable taste, Jerry’s strong work ethic was rivaled only by the profound love he had for his family.

Jerry is survived by his devoted wife, Theresa Albanese. He was predeceased by his beloved son, Jerry Jude Albanese, and is survived by his daughter-in-law, Kelley Albanese, wife of his late son. He is also survived by his daughter Lisa Prestianni and predeceased son-in-law Joseph Prestianni .  His grandchildren, Alexis Kalogianni, Gianna Albanese, and Anthony Albanese, were the lights of his life.

In addition to his love for family, Jerry had a passion for the music of Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin, often filling his home with their timeless tunes. He also had a lifelong enthusiasm for horse racing, with one of his favorite pastimes being visits to Monmouth Park Racetrack, where he enjoyed the thrill of the races.

Those who knew Jerry will always remember his golden heart, his warmth, and his unwavering dedication to family and friends. He leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and kindness that will be deeply missed.
