Jesus Milara, 89 of the Ironbound section of Newark passed away on December 23, 2014 at home.

Funeral from the Galante Funeral Home  17 Pacific St. at Walnut St. (Ironbound) Newark on Saturday at 8:30 AM. Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church Newark at 9:30 AM. Entombment Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum. Visitation Friday 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers the family request donations to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. JDRF.org

Born in West Virginia, Jesus arrived in Newark in 1947 and has lived here ever since. He was a member of the Club Espana since the 1950’s. Jesus was a Factory Worker with Synthetic Plastic Company is Newark for many years. Jesus was predeceased by his parents Diego & Vicenta Milara  (Nee Fernandez) Husband of the late Agueda ( nee Parra). He is survived by his sons Diego and his wife Esther Milara, Gines and his wife Caty Milara. Daughter, Caridad Ferraro and husband Joseph.

Grandchildren, Albert Munoz and wife Nicole, Michael Munoz and his wife Sarah, Vanessa Milara, Jesus D. Milara, Diego M. Milara, Arielle Milara, & Jacqueline Milara.
