Joan E. Ridder

Joan was born in New York City (Queens). She lived in Rosedale, NY and then Union, NJ for over 50 years.

She worked at Two Guys in Union and the Union Center National Bank as a teller.

She finally retired as a lunch aide from Battle Hill Elementary School in 2014 at the age of 87.
She attended Battle Hill Moravian Church for many years.
Joan enjoyed crocheting and made many lap blankets for the veterans.
She is predeceased by her mom, Charlotte Donnelly, her brother Stewart,

husband John and, lastly, her daughter Priscilla in 2014.
She is survived by her daughter Karen Darby, son-in-law Paul Darby,

grandchildren Lauren Scollo (Brian), Ian Darby (Ashley) and Owen Darby (Devin).

She has 4 great-grandchildren, Everly and Tyler Scollo, and Sadie and Gemma Darby.
She will be fondly remembered as a very generous grandma and great grandma.
