Joao Manuel Graca, 44, of Newark, passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2015.

Visitation will be held on Friday at the Galante Funeral Home 17 Pacific St. in Newark on Friday from 6 to 8 PM.

Burial will take place in Portugal .

He is survived by his daughter Cynthia, his parents Joao and Rosa of Portugal and two sisters Guida Graca of Newark and Natercia Pedreiro of Portugal.

Joao was born in Gafanha do Carmo, Portugal, he arrived and settled in the Ironbound section 14 years ago.

He worked locally as a ceramic tile installer for many years.

He enjoyed watching and cheering for his favorite soccer team Benfica.

He also enjoyed fishing, hunting and especially playing cards with his many friends.

Donations will also be accepted at the funeral home.
