John Clark

John Clark, 75 of Bridgewater passed away on January 30, 2021, surrounded by his loving family.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation for John at the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave. Union on Thursday February 4 from 4-8 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. James Church in Springfield on Friday at 10:15 AM. Entombment will follow at Somerset Hills Memorial Park.

John was known as a kind, strong and generous man with a heart of gold. He touched so many lives, and always helped anyone who was in need.

John was a member of the Northeast Regional Council of Carpenters with Local #254 for over 55 years. He held many positions with the union, including Business Representative for Essex County Local #1342, Assistant Executive Treasurer for the Northern NJ Regional Council, Team Leader for the NJ Regional Council, Board Trustee for the Northern NJ Regional Council of Carpenters, Board Trustee for the NJ Carpenters Fund, and Political Director for the NJ Regional Council of Carpenters.

Above all, John treasured the time spent with his family and friends.

John leaves behind his beloved wife of 30 year Marie (nee DiLeo) Clark; brother-in-law Joe and sister-in-law Miguela; his niece Jennifer, who was his best friend in the whole wide world, and also many dear cousins.
