John DeVita, Jr.

John DeVita, Jr., 76 of Iselin passed away on October 19, 2022.

Funeral services are private, in the care of the Galante Funeral Home in Union. John will be laid to rest with his mother at Holy Cross Cemetery.

Born in Newark, John has lived in Iselin for many years. He was a proud, longtime owner of a Getty Service Station in Union prior to his retirement. John enjoyed going to New York Giant games, and was an avid fan and season ticket holder. John was always very fit, and liked to stay in shape. He also treasured days spent out riding his motorcycles.

The devoted son of John DeVita and the late Marie, he was the the dear brother of David L. DeVita and the late Paula Lacz.
