John George Fajna
John George Fajna 89 of Union, died on Tuesday December 9, 2014 in the Haven Hospice of JFK Medical Center in Edison. The funeral services were held privately.
Born in Newark on February 22, 1925, he lived in Union most of his later life. Currently he was a resident of the N.J. Veterans Administration Home in Menlo Park, N.J.
He was a veteran of WWII serving in the European Campaigns under General Patton. He was awarded The Good Conduct, Victory, and Purple Heart medals for his service during the war.
John was the beloved son of the late Mary (nee Rohacik) and the late Paul Fajna. He is the devoted brother of Augusta, Bober, Mary Munko, Anna Smith, and Pauline Fajna. He is also survived by many Nieces, Nephews, and many Great Nieces and Great Nephews.
