John M. Ferro Jr.

John M. Ferro Jr. 52, of South Amboy, passed away 0n Saturday April 23, 2016 at home. The funeral service will be in the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Ave. Union, N.J. on Monday May 2, 2016 at 1:30 pm. Interment will follow in Hollywood Memorial Park, Union, N.J.

Visitation will be on Monday from 11:30 am - 1:30 pm.

Born in Newark, he lived in South Orange, and then became an enthusiastic resident of the Jersey Shore for many years.

He was an iron worker, working for The International Association of  Bridge, Structural, Ornamental, and Reinforcing Iron Workers Local # 11 in Newark for 30 years.

John was the son of the late Irene A. (nee Riporti) and the late John M. Ferro Sr.

He is the father of Jessica M. Dottino and her husband Christopher L. Dottino.

Also he is the brother of  Nicholas Ferro and his wife Sandra, Rene, Gennaro J., Ann  P. Ferro,

and the late Margaret (Peggy) Ferro, as well as the uncle of Jennifer, Olivia, and Jack Ferro.
