John S. Gilman, 70, of Roselle, NJ passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2020 at Trinitas Hospital in Elizabeth.

Private funeral services are in care of Galante Funeral Home in Union.

Born in Jersey City, NJ, John lived in Roselle for many years. He proudly served in the US Navy.

John worked as a truck driver for Richard Cicalese Trucking, Inc. in Cranford  for over 20 years. He attended the Oasis Christian Center in Rahway, NJ since 2004, where John served as an Usher for many years.

Beloved husband of Yolanda (nee Sanchez); Loving father of Gregory Scott Gilman, and step daughter Carol Solis Sanchez; Grandfather of Connor , Kylie, Kai Gilman; Brother of Jane Rieg of Owego, NY, and Joan Phair of Brick, NJ, and the late Jeffrey Gilman.
