John M. Izzolino, a talented chef and entrepreneur, passed away on August 16, 2024, in California. Born in Glen Ridge, New Jersey, he lived a life marked by culinary passion and vibrant personality that endeared him to many.
John's journey into the culinary world began when he moved to California ten years ago. There, he fulfilled his dream of entrepreneurship by founding The Izzolino Pizza Company. His establishment quickly gained a reputation not only for its delicious offerings but also for the high-profile clientele it attracted, including rock bands and celebrities.
John took pride in being a master chef, serving exquisite food to those who sought both comfort and quality. His charm, humor, and engaging personality made him a beloved figure to friends, family, and patrons alike. John’s commitment to his craft and his joyful spirit truly set him apart from others.
John is survived by his parents, John and Theresa Izzolino, his brother Joseph A. Izzolino, his sister Stefanie Izzolino-Wrembel and brother-in-law Stephane, as well as his cousin Mark DeLuca; and his loving niece Marcelle Wrembel and nephew Henri Wrembel. John's spirit lit up a room; he was loved by everyone who knew him.
Funeral is from the Galante Funeral Home, 54 Roseland Ave. in Caldwell.
Visitation is on Friday from 9AM - 11AM at the funeral home, followed by a Mass at St. Raphael's Church in Livingston at 11:30 AM.
