John C. Parrillo, 82, On March 29, 2015 of Irvington.

Husband of the late Anna "Nikki" (nee Arpaio).

Predeceased by his parents Benjamin and Catherine.

Brother of Marie Villani and her husband Prisco Sr., Frank A. Parrillo Sr. and his wife Marian and the late  Anthony, Victor, Benjamin Jr., Judith Parrillo, Josephine Russo, Catherine Carvalho and Rose Jerez.

Survived by his companion of many years Erma Gallucci and her daughters Gail Lemaidi, Sandy D'Andrea and their families.

Also survived by many nieces & nephews, great grand nieces & nephews and great-great grand nieces & nephews.

Brother in Law of Florence Parrillo.

Special thanks to John's personal assistant and friend, Martha Galego, whose unconditional love and support for many years is deeply appreciated.

John was born in Newark, lived in Irvington. He worked as a service technician at Tempco Inc. for approximately 25 years before owning and operating John's Appliance Service, an appliance repair service in Irvington for 20 years before retiring.

John served as a veteran in the US Army.

Funeral from the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Ave, Union on Friday at 8:30AM

Blessing at Holy Spirit Church at 10 AM.

Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.

Visitation Thursday from 4 to 8 PM
