John T. Rauffenbart

John T. Rauffenbart, 79, of Union, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at Overlook Hospital in Summit.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation for John at the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Avenue in Union on Monday from 3 to 7 pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at St. James Church in Springfield at 10 am. Entombment to follow at Hollywood Memorial Park in Union.

Born in East Orange, NJ, John lived in Margate and Elizabeth, before moving to Union over 29 years ago.

John worked in the pharmaceutical business for many years, until retiring 10 years ago from O.R. Medical Communications in NYC.  He studied at Bucknell University in PA, and then went on to earn his Bachelors Degree at Rutgers University in Newark; further pursuing a Masters Degree at Seton Hall University. John was an avid golfer for many years.

Beloved husband of Juanita (nee Sisto) Rauffenbart. Brother in-law of Hazel and Gabriel Boullon.

Predeceased by his parents, the late Thomas and Ruth (nee Strouck) Rauffenbart, and his father and mother in-law, the late Ida and Agustine Sisto.
