The funeral is from the Galante Funeral Home 17 Pacific Street Newark with visitation on Saturday Morning from 8:30 until church time at 10 :30am.

Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Fatima Church, Newark at 10:30AM.

Interment is at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, East Orange.

Jose was born in Murtosa, Portugal and was a resident of the Ironbound Section of Newark for many years before moving to Bayville NJ.

Jose worked as a Mason for Local 472 in Newark for 25 years before retiring in 1996.

Jose was married to the late Albertina. and was the father of Feliz Pomeroy, Connie Lopes and Marisol Woitowicz and the late Zeferino.

He was one of 13 brothers and sisters.

Grandfather of 8 and great grandfather of 2.
