Jose Joaquim Mendes Galvao, 53, Passed away on February 4, 2013 of Newark.
Son of Maria Luisa (nee Pelarego) and the late Antonio Jose Galvao.
Brother of Maria Rosario “Bia”
Jose was born in Angola, Southern Africa.
He arrived in Newark in the 1980’s and has lived in the Ironbound Section of Newark since.
He was a heavy equipment operator for various construction companies in New Jersey.
Funeral is from the Galante Funeral Home 17 Pacific St, in Newark (Ironbound)
on Friday at 10 AM.
Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Fatima Church, Newark at 10:30 am.
Interment Arlington Cemetery in Kearny.
Visitation is Friday morning from 8:30AM to 10AM.
