Jose Rodriguez

Jose A. Rodriguez, 65 of Union passed away on May 4, 2018.

A Visitation will be held at the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave. Union on Monday May 7 from 5-9 PM. Burial will take place on Tuesday May 8 at Graceland Memorial Park in Kenilworth at 11:30 AM.

Jose Alfonso Rodriguez Fernandez was a strong man, full of energy, a fighter, strong willed and of a strong character. He was caring to his family and friends, he was selfless and always willing to help others in need. Alfonso was admired and respected  by all his siblings, peers, family, friends and co-workers who saw him as authoritative figure, ready to take charge and able to make decisions. Alfonso was of military discipline, and grew up in a military household, he is 1 of 8 siblings who grew up in Dominican Republic, where he emigrated to the United states with his spouse and children. In the United States  Alfonso was loved by everyone, he was very chatty & social individual, he was a well respected member of his community & he will be greatly missed.

Jose was the beloved husband of Cruz Rosa Martinez; loving father of Deniel Rodriguez and his wife Elizabeth Brito-Rodriguez, Elisa Fragoso and her husband Luis III, Arianna Vaz and her husband Marcos and Rosa Isaura Paczynski and her husband Piotr; dear brother of Manolo Rodriguez, Leo Rodriguez, Jose del Carmen, Guillermo Rodriguez, Juan Jose Rodriguez and Mary Wilson; and grandfather of Daliah, Sebastian, Valerie, Anaya, Leah, Zofia, Sarah, Matias, Juliusz and Katalina.
