Jose Angel Ruiz, 57, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 24, 2016 with his daughters by his side. Loving son, brother, father, step-father, grandfather, uncle, and friend. Jose truly was the heart and life of his family. A successful businessman and entrepreneur in Newark, where he was born and raised. He relocated to Philadelphia, where he spent much of his life before moving back to Hillside, NJ to care for his aging parents.

A Funeral Service will be held at the Fairmount Cemetery Mausoleum, 620 Central Ave. Newark on Wednesday at 10AM.

Son of Dora and the late Daniel Ruiz; Beloved father of Jennifer Ruiz, Bernice Ruiz-Rosato, and son in-law Peter Rosato;Step-father of Lisette and Leonardo Feal. Brother of Israel, Daniel Jr., and the late Ana. Grandfather of Kayla, Juliana, Gianluca, Nicole, Alexandra, Makai, and Leah.
