Jose "JR" Zayas

Jose "JR" Zayas 63, of Jackson, N.J. died on Saturday April 25, 2015.

The funeral service will be in the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Avenue, Union, N.J. on Thursday at 6:30 pm. Visitation will be on Thursday from 4 - 7 pm. Cremation will be private.

Born in Puerto Rico, he lived in Newark, and West Orange, before moving to Jackson 30 years ago. He was employed at Rosville Tool and dye Mfg. Co. in Livingston as a Set Up Man for 35 years.

He loved his boat and the New York Giants.

Jose is the son of Margarita (nee Rivera) and the late Jose Zayas,

and is  survived by his loving wife of 30 years

Jo Ann Nolan - Zayas.

He is also the father of Joseph Zayas, and the brother of  Myrna Fortuna, Helen Rivera, George, Raymond, & David Zayas,
