Joseph A. Baseil

Joseph A. Baseil, 31, of Mountainside passed away June 16, 2019. Joseph was born December 21, 1987 in Livingston, NJ, the son of Philip and Antonia (Bruccoleri) Baseil. He attended Deerfield School in Mountainside followed by the Union County Magnet High School. After graduation in 2006, he attended Fairleigh Dickinson University where he obtained both Bachelors and Masters degrees in finance.

Joseph was a proud member of Phi Sigma Kappa Fraternity where he made lifelong friends and everlasting memories. He was an avid Yankee baseball fan, and enjoyed spending his time with family on the beaches of Long Beach Island. Joseph had the biggest heart. He was smart, kind, passionate and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Joseph is survived by his parents Philip and Antonia; his sister Nicole (Baseil) Kruger; sister-in-law Danielle Kruger; maternal grandmother Nicolina Bruccoleri; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. In April, he was elated to welcome his new nephew Aiden Joseph Kruger, the love of his life.

A memorial Visitation will be held at Galante Funeral Home (2800 Morris Ave Union, NJ 07083)

on Thursday June 20 from 6:00-9:00 pm.

There will be a Memorial Service at 8:30 PM , followed by a private burial.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in Joseph’s memory.
