Joseph Duva

Joseph Duva, 88 of Little Egg Harbor passed away on January 8, 2014.

Funeral Service is at the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave. Union on Monday at 11 AM. Interment is at Holy Cross Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday from  9-11 AM.

Born in Newark, Joseph loved in Brick Twp., Beach Haven West and Little Egg Harbor. He was crewman on the USS Wasp in the US Navy during WWII. He was a longtime insurance salesman for MetLife in Newark, retiring many years ago.

Joseph was the husband of the late Frances (nee Tortorello) and Joan Salvatore Duncan. Father of Joseph A. Duva, Rosemary Nye, Frances Ann Duva, Sharon Ann Baker, Marie Bentivegna and the late Michael Duva. Brother of Jimmie Duva, Elizabeth Duva Halley and Jean Duva. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 3 great-granddaughters.
