Joseph " Joey " Liquori Jr.

 Joseph " Joey " Liquori Jr., 60, passed away suddenly on July 17, 2024.

Joey was born on August 29, 1963 to Joseph N. Liquori and the late Mary (nee Batto) in Newark. He grew up in Hillside and he later pursued his passion at the racetrack as a general manager at the New Egypt Raceway in New Egypt, New Jersey for 10 + years, dedicating his life to the track and his work there. His other life passion was auto body repair where he was noted as a very skilled craftsman for Classic Auto body in Newark for 30 + years .

Joey will be remembered for his love of family, collecting vintage cars, and his dog Rocky. He touched the lives of many through his work, leaving a lasting impact on those around him.

Joey is survived by his father Joseph N., his fiancé Teresa Aloisio, and his brothers Michael (Debbie) and Daniel (Shannon) , who mourn his loss deeply. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. He is predeceased by his mother Mary and his brother Robert.

Visitation at the Galante Funeral Home in Union will be from 3 to 7 pm on Sunday, July 21. A mass will be held on July 22, 2024 at Christ the King Church in Hillside at 10 am followed by interment at Graceland Memorial Park in Kenilworth.
