Joseph R. Muscavage  77, of Union, N.J. died on Tuesday February 21, 2017

The funeral will be from the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Ave. Union, N.J. on Friday  at 9 am.

The funeral mass will be in St. Joseph Church in Maplewood, N.J. at 10 am.

Entombment will follow in Hollywood Memorial Park in Union, N.J.

Visitation will be on Thursday from 2 - 6 pm. .

Born in Scranton, Pa, he lived in Newark, before moving to Union 53 years ago.

He was a veteran of the US Army Signal Corps. from 1961- 1964.

Joseph was married to his wife Marianne G. Muscavage (nee Devino)  for 53 years.

He is the father of Michael A. Muscavage and his wife Linda, and  the late Joseph R. Muscavage Jr.

He is also the caring grandfather of  Joseph M. Jr., Grace, Delanie, Peter Joseph, Giuliana, and Sophia.
