Joseph M. Strothers, 65, passed peacefully in his sleep on December 23rd, 2024.

He was raised in Newark before his family moved to Union, NJ. One of six children, Joe was the second oldest, and beloved by all his siblings - John, Michael, Dave, Joann, and Lisa.

He was the proudest father to both his girls, Samantha and Taylor. They were everything to him.

A visitation will be held for Joseph on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Galante Funeral Home located at 2800 Morris Ave in Union for those who wish to pay their respects. A prayer service at the funeral home will be held on Tuesday at 10:00am. Internment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover.
