Josephine Collucci  (nee Policastro) 88 of Toms River, passed away on Saturday December 31, 2016. The funeral will be from the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Avenue Union, on Wednesday at

9 am. The funeral mass will be in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Newark, (Ironbound) at 10:30 am. Entombment will follow in Hollywood Memorial Park in Union. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4-8 pm.

Born in Newark, she lived in Edison, before moving to Toms River 14 years ago. Josephine was employed by Rutgers University in Piscataway before her retirement. She enjoyed bowling,  mahjong,  worldwide traveling and especially frequent trips to Atlantic City.

Josephine was married to her beloved husband  Donald A. Collucci Sr. for 67 years. She is the devoted mother of  Donna  Goncalves, and Donald  Collucci  Jr. She also is the daughter of the late George and Anna  (nee Reo) Policastro, and  is the loving sister of  Rosemarie Rizzo, the late Alphonse  (Babe),  Peter (Shong),  and Angela  Policastro, and is also the cherished grandmother of Christina Manata, Danielle  Goncalves, Ernesto  Collucci,  Vanessa  Collucci-Beck, and Dominique Collucci, as well as the great grandmother of  Lucas, Ava, Jacob, and Amelia.
