Josephine  Yolanda DeMairo (Nee Taranto) of Staten Island formerly of Brooklyn.  passed away on December 5, 2019 at home.

Funeral from the Bedell-Pizzo Funeral Home  7447 Amboy Rd. Staten Island, New York on Monday at 8:30  AM.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Thomas Church Staten Island on Monday at  9:30  AM. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation Sunday 2 - 5  & 7 - 9PM.

Josephine was born in Brooklyn and lived in Staten Island.

Beloved wife  of the late Constantine De Mairo. Beloved daughter of the late Guiseppe and Maria Taranto.  Mother of Mary Anne Pekar and her husband George, Diane Rivela and her husband Frank. John De Mairo  and his wife Silvia, & Deborah Fox and her husband Michael.  Grandmother of Krystal Galante and her husband Victor, Jeannette Moretti  and her husband Eugene, George Pekar, Jeana De Mairo, Gregory Pekar, Francesca Rivela, Christopher De Mairo, Antonique Rivela, Brendan Fox, and Brian Fox. Great grandmother of Victor Galante III.
