Josephine D'Iacovo

Josephine D’Iacovo (nee Russo), 90 of Union passed away on August 25, 2016.

A Funeral Service will be held in the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave. Union on Saturday at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover. Visitation is on Friday from 6-9 PM.

Born in Newark, Josephine loved to crochet and spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed playing Bingo.

Josephine was the wife of the late John L. D’Iacovo; loving mother of Catherine Lanno and her husband Frank, Ermalinda Bryans and her husband Robert and John D’Iacovo and his wife Brenda. She is also survived by her dear grandchildren Kristoffer Bryans and his wife Aida, and Jennifer Lemke and her husband Robert; great-grandchildren Liam and Aidan Nason, Amy Bryans, Sandy and Deanne Poma and Levi and Zach Lemke; and by her dog Sammy.
