Josephine Tamasco (nee Rega), 96 of Basking Ridge passed away at home on November 7, 2013.

Funeral is from the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave. Union on Monday at 8:30 AM. Funeral Mass is at St. Michael Church in Union at 10:15 AM. Interment is at St. Teresa Cemetery in Summit. Visitation is on Sunday from 1-5 PM.

Born in Jersey City, Josephine lived in Irvington and Union before moving to Basking Ridge 11 years ago. She took great pride in caring for her loving family.

Josephine is survived by her beloved husband Carlo Tamasco. Loving mother of Carlo and his wife Joan, Robert and Jo Ann Tamasco. She was predeceased by her brother Anthony Rega and her sisters Rose Gemma, Theresa Krsykowski, Mary Nebenburgh and Antoinette Piro. Surviving are her grandchildren Christian, Jared, Tiffany, Robert, and Joseph and his wife Erin Tamasco. Great-grandmother of Michael and Nicholas Tamasco.
