Beloved wife of the late William J.


Mother of Jeanette Meloro, husband Ralph, and Denise DeVone.


Sister of Morris Miserendino and his wife Florence and the late Frances Diliberti and Vincent Miserendino.


Grandmother of Lisa Pieciak, husband Richard, Dr. Ralph Meloro, wife Ewa, Mark Meloro, and Marla Giardino, husband Phillip.


Great Grandmother of Lucas, Lily, Bridgette, Miles, Mark Jr., Spencer, Ivy, Tanner and Evan.


Survived by many Nieces and Nephews and a Sister-in-Law Bess Devone.


Josephine was born in Newark. Lived in Newark until moving to Springfield 62 years ago.


She graduated in 1932 from Arts High in Newark.


She was self-employed as a dress designer for 30 years before joining Bonwit Teller in 1967. She worked in the alteration department up until the store's closing.


She enjoyed traveling and dancing with her husband William, “the love of her life” throughout their lives.
