Juan Milara

Juan Milara, 88, of Clark, NJ, passed away at Overlook Hospital in Summit, NJ, with his family at his side.

The wake will take place at Galante Funeral Home, located at 2800 Morris Avenue, in Union, NJ.

on Saturday from 4-8 pm,

Funeral service will be at 7:30 PM.

He will be buried in Freijo, La Coruña, Spain.

Born in Belmez, Córdoba, Spain, he arrived and settled in the Ironbound section of Newark, NJ in 1947. He worked for 31 years as a machinist for General Motors Hyatt Roller Bearing in Harrison and later, Clark,

until his retirement in 1981.

Juan was the beloved husband of the late Rosa Milara, loving father of Juan, Jr., Socorro, and José, and father-in-law to their respective spouses, Dolores, Alfonso, and Paula. He was a devoted grandfather to Eduardo, Melissa, Javier, Brian, and Stephanie, and cherished great-grandfather to Mariana, Angelica, Adrian, and Ariela. He was the dear brother of the late Remigio, as well as the late Diego, Jesús, and Basilisa, and brother-in-law to their late spouses, Ricarda, Águeda, and Antonio, in addition to being the adored uncle of many nieces and nephews.
