Juan F. Romero, 83 of Wayne passed away on April 13, 2013.

Funeral service is at the Galante Funeral Home, 17 Pacific St. Newark on Wednesday at 10 AM. Interment is at Holy Cross Cemetery. Visitation is on Tuesday from 7-9 PM.

Born in Cuba, Juan lived in the Ironbound section of Newark since 1953. He worked at OMG Fidelity, Inc. in Newark as a foreman until his retirement in 2006. He enjoyed life and spending time with his family.

Juan was the beloved husband of the late Alicia (nee Reyes). Loving father of Liz Fox and her husband Ron. Brother of Eloy and Luis Romero. He is also survived by his grandchildren Ashley and Jason; as well as several nieces and nephews.
