Julie DeFede

Julie DeFede, a beloved mother and grandmother known for her unwavering love for her family passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on February 22nd, 2024.

Her memory will be cherished by her children, Anthony and Sharon; daughter-in-law Susan; son-in-law Joseph Innamoratto; grandchildren Anthony John and Noelle DeFede; as well as other family members and friends.

Julie was also predeceased by her sisters Betty Frino, Phyllis Solla, and brother Joseph Calamusa. 

Julie's warm presence and caring nature touched the lives of all who knew her. She found immense joy in spending time with her children and grandchildren, creating lasting memories that will forever be treasured. Julie loved to have her three meals a day while watching the Hallmark channel.

A Memorial Gathering to honor and celebrate Julie's life will take place on Tuesday, February 27th at Galante Funeral Home in Union from 2- 4 pm with a service at 3:30 pm. It is a time to reflect on the beautiful moments shared with Julie and find solace in the everlasting impact she had on those around her.

In the tapestry of life, Julie DeFede's thread was woven with love, kindness, and grace. Her legacy will continue to shine brightly through the hearts of those she loved and who loved her dearly. May she rest in eternal peace.
