Julius Fol, 89 of Barnegat passed away on November 18, 2013.
Funeral Service is at the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Ave. Union on Saturday at 10:30 AM. Interment is at Evergreen Cemetery in Hillside. Visitation is on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
Born in Detroit, MI, Julius lived in Garwood for most of his life before moving to Barnegat in 1995. A World War II veteran, he was wounded in the Invasion of Normandy and received a Purple Heart. He was also an accomplished musician and trumpet player with the Paradise Seranaders Orchestra.
Julius is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years Josephine (nee Pastor); his loving children Edward Fol and his wife Michelle; Robert Fol and his wife Donna and Lisa Demers and her husband Rich. He was the brother of the late Lillian, Frank, Joseph and Carmen. Grandfather of Eddie and his wife Carine, Michael and his wife Lori, Danielle, Brad, Blake, Brian and CJ. Great-grandfather of Jackson, Owen, Isabella and Hunter. Julius is also survived by sisters-in-law Betty Crisofulli and Mercedes Fol; brother-in-law Vincent Pastor and his wife Dora, and many nieces and nephews.
