Karl P. Cramer Jr., 83, of Union, died on Wednesday, July 17th, 2013 at St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston.

The funeral service will be at Grace Lutheran Church, 2222 Vauxhall Road in Union, on Monday at 10:30 am. Interment will follow in Hollywood Memorial Park. Visitation will be on Sunday at the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Avenue, Union from 2 - 6 pm.

Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, he lived in Brooklyn & Staten Island, N.Y. before moving to Union 58 years ago. He was a Marine Engineer for the U.S. Navy for 41 years, retiring in 1987. He was a member of the Shriners in Livingston, the Gavel Lodge, the Elks BPOE 1583, and the American Legion all in Union.He was also a veteran of the Korean War serving in the U.S. Navy.

Karl was married to his wife Marion Cramer (nee Epp) for 51 years, and is the father of Bruce, Michael, Stephen, Joanne Hamilton, Irene Bartosh, and Laura Weiss. He is the brother of Jacqueline Woulms, Mary Reeves, and the late William T. Cramer. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.

Memorials if you choose can be made to Grace Lutheran Church or the Shriners Children Hospital, 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL. 33608 in his memory.
