Katherine Di Lauri 93, of Union, died on Saturday August 25, 2012 at Overlook Hospital in Summit.


The funeral is from the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Avenue, Union, on Tuesday at 8:30 AM.


The funeral mass is at St. Michael Church in Union at 10:15 AM.


Entombment is at Graceland Memorial Park in Kenilworth.


Visitation is Monday from 4-8 PM.


Born in Newark she lived in Maplewood before moving to Union 8 years ago.


Katherine was married to her late husband Frank (Bucky) Di Lauri for 52 years until he died in 1993. She was the mother of Maria Cheety and her husband Paul, and the grandmother of Paul Cheety and his wife Lauren. She was also the sister of Grace Porembo, the late Antoinette Mizzoni, Angelina Vinciquerra, Christine, Anthony, and August Nicosia.
