Keron Zidane Gabriel

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Keron Zidane Gabriel, who departed this life

on April 7, 2025, at the age of 17. Born on June 26, 2007, in Newark, New Jersey, Keron was the

beloved son of Micol Clarke and Keron Gabriel Sr.

Keron was a kind, humble, and gentle young man whose light shined brightly in the lives of all

who knew him. A high school senior with a passion for life and a smile that could brighten any

room, he faced illness with unwavering strength and quiet grace. Though soft-spoken, his

presence left a powerful impact—especially among his peers and the youth community at LOJ

Caldwell, where he was a cherished member.

At church, Keron moved with confidence and calm, embodying peace despite adversity. His

resilience, joyful spirit, and positive energy touched the hearts of many. He will be fondly

remembered for his warmth, his courage, and the way his smile made others feel loved and seen.

In honor of his life and legacy, a star in the night sky has been named after him.

Keron is survived by his loving parents, three sisters, a brother, extended family, friends, and a

community that cherished him deeply. His memory will live on in the countless lives he touched

and in the night sky that now holds his name.

May he rest in eternal peace.

In honoring Keron Gabriel's life, his visitation will take place at Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Ave. in Union on April 25, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. There will be another visitation at Love of Jesus Family Church 448 Highland Ave. in Orange on April 26, 2025,  from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM followed by a funeral service from 11:00 AM to 12:00PM. Interment will be at Hollywood Memorial Park in Union at 1:30 PM April 26th, 2025.
